The Women’s Liberation movement happened before my parents even met. Although I am grateful people finally came to their senses and realize that women are equally capable as men are, chauvinists forget this. For almost fifteen years, I have worked in a field that draws more men than women. For the most part, I don’t really care just as long as I get treated like one of the dudes. Yet, some guys don’t know how to do this.
The simple truth is that chicks just want to be treated like the dudes at the workplace. It’s amazing what a little kindness and camaraderie will do. However, if blokes were nice and respectful all the time, I would have nothing sassy to say, so you can see what kind of month it has been…
