My sassy younger brother has a special birthday wish that I would like to make come true. As you will read, this birthday wish is one the best you’ve heard:
I have determined what I want for my birthday. I want to have Jon McNaughton, the conservative Mormon painter, paint my dog and me, walking beside President Obama. Tattooed on my arms will be the Constitution or at least the highlights, while above us the Founding Fathers will be smiling down from the clouds. An eagle will sore ahead of us, representing freedom. Behind Obama, Osama Bin Laden will be chained with a look of humiliation and defeat. To the side, an American family will be rebuilding their home with the father headed off to work, signifying economic recovery.
I expect this painting to be Jon’s crowning work. Since it will be around the 4th of July, I expect no compensation for my time or ideas. Come on, Jon, let’s make this happen.
