My Secret Love: Crate & Barrel

Life is too short for bad liquor of any kind.  Crate & Barrel makes enjoying a good wine, martini, or scotch so much easier.  Crate & Barrel just gets me.  We started our relationship about a decade ago when I discovered them on a trip back east.  Now the they built a Crate & Barrel just five minutes away from my home, I’ve been able to take our relationship from casual Internet purchasing to regular dates that involve procuring more lovely liquor glasses and seasonal décor.

The sassy scotch snob and I are planning Scotchtoberfest.  Yes, I know we are several months late, but any month is a good month for Scotchtoberfest.  Maybe we’ll just have to rename it Scotchuary.  Regardless, there will be good scotch drinking, and those, who don’t prefer scotch; we’ll always have good wines to savor.  In preparation for this event, we decided to expand our drinkware to include these lovely additions from my significant other store:

Whisky TasterWhisky Taster Glass
6 oz.
2.5″W x 4.5″H
Fire-polished rim
Hand wash
Made in Germany
$6.95

Stylish glass brings out the full value of fine spirits.

Ample tulip-shaped bowl concentrates the aroma single malts and blends to reveal the depth and nuance of the distiller’s art.

Tapered pedestal sham sits well in hand.

This purchase required the rearrangement of our drinkware cupboards, but I was able to make room for them and more.  I can’t wait to go back to Crate & Barrel and expand my wine glass collection, and because this store knows me so well, they’ve prepared this lovely guide to wine glasses.

Crate & Barrel, we are a match made in heaven.
