There are a few roles I would love to play before I die. Granted, it probably won’t happen because I’m getting to the point where I’m too old to play some of them. I think it would be super fun to play Velma Kelly in “Chicago.” I absolutely love all the songs her character sings, and I’ve done them as solos for other performances. BTW, for those newbs to musical theatre, Velma is Catherine Zeta Jones singing all the jazz in this video. Enjoy!
P.S. The musical is a great satire of the media, and it makes me laugh every time I see it. It’s not as morbid as it seems.
